Unpacking moves to PlayStation consoles this spring

Unpacking became one of 2021’s hidden gems when it released for Xbox, Switch, and PC last November. Soon, PlayStation fans will have the opportunity to experience this unique narrative adventure for the PS5 and PS4 this spring.

As the name suggests, the premise of this game involves unpacking your belongings through different stages of a woman’s life. From childhood to adulthood, she will open boxes one by one and place her most treasured items in various rooms of different houses. Most items can be placed anywhere you want (creative placement can unlock hidden achievements), but some items can only fit in certain locations, so be aware of that. In addition to having a good time, Unpacking has been praised for its effective use of environmental storytelling to guide players into the life of the protagonist.
