Triangle Strategy achieves 800,000 sales in 2 weeks
Triangle Strategy is an exceptional tactical game that some fear will dig into the hype of heavy hitters like Elden Ring and Horizon Forbidden West. Obviously not, as the game has already sold hundreds of thousands of copies within two weeks of its release.
The game’s Japanese Twitter account announced that Triangle Strategy had sold 200,000 copies in Japan and Asia alone, and nearly 800,000 copies worldwide. Your account states that this number includes physical copies shipped and digital downloads. Not bad for a switch-only strategy game recently released in the shadow of Triple-A Titans, especially since Triangle Strategy’s predecessor, Octopath Traveler, took about a month to ship 1 million units. The triangle strategy is progressing at a good pace. The tweet also includes a new piece of art by illustrator Naoki Ikushima to celebrate the event.

Triangle Strategy launched on Switch on March 4th and is worth checking out if you enjoy turn-based strategy with choice-driven storytelling and political intrigue.
