The Cult Of The Lamb Is Ready To Teach Console Players

Cult of the Lamb is a delightful, crazy game from Massive Monster and Devolver Digital that was one of the most anticipated indie games when it was first released back in August. The game allows you to control a cute sheep and form a demon cult. funny! While PC was the only confirmed platform, a new update announced that Cult of the Lamb would affect consoles.

Specifically, the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Switch. Unfortunately, a release date is still vague, but Cult of the Ram is still targeting 2022.

In Cult of the Lamb, you play as a captive lamb who must repay a debt to a mysterious stranger who saved his life. The reward is in the form of forming a cult dedicated to this stranger’s name. Travel across procedurally generated lands, spreading good (?) words, preaching sermons, performing dark rituals, and gathering resources to build idols and other worship structures to seduce followers. Combat is a hack-and-slash variety where you defeat rival cult leaders, non-believers, and monsters. The game looks rough, but we hope it unlocks its potential when it releases later this year.
