Tales of Arise and Scarlet Nexus Get Stylish Crossovers Today

Tales of Arise and Scarlet Nexus were two of the best JRPGs of 2021 (if you’re a fan of this genre, you should play Nier Replicant too!) Prior to launch, Arise will have a broader game world than its predecessors and an engine that will enhance the series’ graphics capabilities. It was supposed to be the final 25th anniversary Tales game touting the Switch. The Scarlet Nexus, on the other hand, was a surprising hit with its fun telekinesis abilities and fast-paced combat. Today, Bandai Namco is celebrating its 2021 success story with a free and stylish crossover event for both games.

Last year we enjoyed both games. I gave Tales of Arise 9.25 and wrote, “Tales of Arise is a fantastic reimagining of Bandai Namco’s proven and authentic formula. It’s probably the best franchise ever.”

Dan Tack gave the Scarlet Nexus 8.75 and concluded his review with this: I wish there was a more sophisticated sequel,” he said.
