Stranger Things Season 4 Trailer Reveals Summer Premiere Dates For Two Books
After years of waiting, the fourth and final season of Stranger Things begins this summer. Released in two parts, the first full-length trailer of the season sets the table for the perils that Hawkins’ new and existing heroes must fight.
The story begins months after the events of season 3 in 2019. The helpless Eleven and Byers family moved to California. Hopper is taken prisoner in Russia. The rest of our friends have to pick up the pieces while they start high school. Unsurprisingly, an ongoing supernatural threat and accompanying evil government conspiracies continue to plague the world’s happiest little town. According to a warning to Eleven in the trailer: “War is coming. Your friends in Hawkins are in front of the storm.”
Stranger Things 4 consists of 9 episodes, with each episode running twice as long as before. Since the episodes are very large, they will be released in two parts with an interval of 5 weeks. Volume 1 premieres on May 27th and Volume 2 arrives on July 1st. I don’t know how many episodes there are in each volume, but I can think of it as a clean split, so it’s 4/5 each.
Earlier this year, Netflix updated its fifth and final season, Stranger Things. The final season currently has no premiere date.
