Starfield and Redfall postponed to first half of 2023

Bethesda has postponed Starfield and Redfall to the first half of 2023.

This news comes today via an update posted on the official Bethesda Twitter account. This update explains that Bethesda Game Studios and Arkane Austin, Starfield, respectively, and the two teams behind Redfall, need more time to make the game the best it can be.

“We have decided to delay the release of Redfall and Starfield to the first half of 2023. The team at Arkane Austin (Redfall) and Bethesda Game Studios (Starfield) have incredible ambitions for their game and you will receive the best and most polished version. Please.

“I want to thank everyone for the excitement about Redfall and Starfield. That energy is a big part of what inspires us all every day and fuels our own excitement about what we are creating. Redfall was announced last year, slated for release last summer, and Starfield, unveiled almost four years ago, was slated for release on November 11, 2022. Now players have to wait about a year. Play both.
