Pokémon TCG: Pokémon Go Expansion Collection Revealed, Coming This July

Pokémon Company International has unveiled a new collection of Pokémon Go expansions to its trading card game. Fortunately, it’s coming to retail stores this July, so you don’t have to wait too long to get your hands on it.

This Pokémon Go expansion was teased out in February, but today The Pokémon Company International detailed everything fans and players can expect from the collection. Based on the popular mobile AR game, this expansion is targeted at participating retailers starting July 1, with additional releases coming later.

“Today, The Pokémon Company International has revealed details about the Pokémon Trading Card Game: Pokémon Go Expansion Pack, a special collaboration inspired by the popular mobile game Pokémon Go,” the press release said. “Fans and players of Pokémon TCG and Pokémon Go following the initial teaser for this expansion pack can look forward to this newly unveiled product lineup.

Cards from the Pokémon GO expansion will be found in the following products as the first wave launches globally at participating retailers starting July 1, 2022, with more releases coming later.”

Included in the Wave 1 collection are products released on July 1st.

• Pokémon TCG: Pokémon GO Premium Collection

• Pokémon TCG: The Pokémon GO Collection

• Pokémon TCG: Pokémon GO Annotations

• Pokémon TCG: Pokémon GO Pokéball Annotations

• Pokémon TCG: Pokémon GO Mini Barrel

Pokémon Company International says more information about this “cooperative expansion” will be revealed as launch nears in the coming months.
