Nintendo Unveils Lego Pitch on New Adventure Course This August

The reason Lego Mario has become a hit for Nintendo seems to be because they’re continuing to work together with Lego to create new experiences and Lego versions of beloved characters in the Mushroom Kingdom.

After unveiling playable Lego Luigi with Lego Mario last year and all the Super Mario Lego sets released so far, Nintendo has now revealed that everyone’s favorite Mushroom Kingdom Princess will be coming to Lego this August. In addition, Peach is also taking its own course, the Adventures with Peach Starter Course.

As you can see in the tweet above, the LEGO Peach looks great! She’s a great addition to the existing set, but it’s a perfect fit for the new Super Mario 64, Super Mario World and Super Mario 3D World expansion sets that join the world of Mushroom Kingdom Lego.

Nintendo (sort of) revealed these new expansions for Mario Day today, along with a new Peach figure, but haven’t come up with a name for it. But fans of Mario will definitely recognize which game each set is inspired by. In the photo below, the one on the left is definitely reminiscent of Super Mario 64, the middle one is very similar to Yoshi’s house/hideout/dinosaur possession in Super Mario World’s Mushroom Kingdom (?), and finally, the set on the right is from Super Mario 3D World. There is a cat goomba and tree climbing to see.

The LEGO Peach and Peach with Adventure Starter Course Sets will be released in August this year. For the new expansion set, a release date hasn’t been revealed yet.
