Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds Pre-Registration Starts Today

The MMORPG ‘Ni no Kuni: Cross World’, launched in Asia last year, is heading west this summer. The game is a multiplayer multiplayer immersion in the quirky worlds of Level-5 and Studio Ghibli from developer Netmarble, available for free pre-registration on mobile devices starting today.

Cross Worlds boasts a new storyline and signature Studio Ghibli animation style for the first two titles (the game is built with Unreal Engine 4). The narrative focuses on player characters from a futuristic city playing what they believe is a virtual reality game called Soul Divers. However, they discover that the fantasy world they have entered is very real, and a mysterious girl named Rania is tasked with rebuilding the kingdom of the world to save you both realities.

Players dress in one of five classes: Swordsman, Witch, Engineer, Rogue, and Destroyer. You will explore vast worlds full of NPCs to befriend and monsters to kill, and collect familiars that can be tamed to fight alongside you. Kingdoms can be built and decorated using interactive objects while maintaining their own personal farms. Multiplayer includes both PvE and PvP modes.

Pre-register on the App Store or Google Play to receive the Explorer Costume. Join the game’s Discord to earn Catarumpus Hats and special titles.

Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds will launch in the US on iOS and Android early summer. You can also play on PC.
