Original Story: Marvel’s Avengers’ post-launch success hasn’t been dazzling since its 2020 release. The bright side is that Crystal Dynamics has supported the game with solid expansions and character drops like War for Wakanda and Spider-Man. Despite these fun elements, a new game-breaking bug on the PlayStation 5 is negatively impacting the remaining player base from enjoying superhero titles. Due to the bug in question, Marvel’s Avengers crashes every time it loads, and the only way to fix it is to delete the progress.
In the meantime, here's a workaround that is resolving the issue for some players - just note that it will reset your campaign progress:

A recent tweet thread on the official Marvel’s Avengers Twitter account (see above) said the following about the current quick fix:
“Our team is still investigating the issue causing it to crash on some PS5 players. We believe we have identified a fix that is currently being implemented/testing. We hope to hear more from you tomorrow morning and will keep you updated.
In the meantime, here’s a workaround that works for some players. Please note that your campaign progress will be reset. Go to Actions to reset your campaign rebuild progress. As soon as you’re young Kamala in A-Day, you can force quit the game from the PS home screen to launch the Avengers Initiative.”
