Machine Gun Kelly Will Be A Playable Character In WWE 2K22

Rapper Machine Gun Kelly broke off with an official partner by providing his own music and composing the game’s soundtrack for the frenzy of WWE 2K22. He himself is poised to become a playable superstar.

2K has announced that MGK will arrive as part of a post-launch content pack (no release date), so don’t expect to offer MGK on release date.

Kelly serves as Executive Producer on 2K22’s soundtrack and helps curate songs including:

  • Machine Gun Kelly - “Concert for Aliens”

  • Machine Gun Kelly ft. Yungblud & Bert McCracken - “Body Bag”

  • Wu-Tang Clan - “Protect Ya Neck”

  • Motorhead - “Iron Fist”

  • Poppy - “Say Cheese” (Live NXT Version)

  • Royal Blood - “Typhoon”

  • Bring Me Horizon - “Happy Song”

  • The Weeknd - “Heartless”

  • Turnstile - “I don’t want to be blind”

  • Ask Alexandria - “Last Episode (Let’s Change Channels)”

  • KennyHoopla - “Hollywood sucks.”

It may seem odd, but Kelly is a known wrestling fan and has appeared in WWE programming multiple times over the years, so the partnership makes sense and it must be a pretty cool thing for him. I would like to know what his ratings and movements are. Also, does this give Bad Bunny a chance to join the roster? Because, ironically, I would be disappointed about it.

WWE 2K22 releases March 11th for PlayStation, Xbox consoles and PC. You can see the full list of confirmed superstars here.
