Link your PlayStation account to Discord starting today
Announced in May of last year, Sony and Discord have partnered to bring the PlayStation and Discord ecosystems together. Today we are finally seeing the move to bring Discord integration to Sony consoles. Rather the opposite.
Starting today, you can link your PlayStation account to your Discord ID. This way your friends or other server interactions can see what you’re doing and when on your PS5 or PS4. This service works just like other services like Steam, Blizzard, Xbox, Spotify, etc. The settings are the same.
Here’s how to link your PlayStation account on Discord.
“To link your Discord account to your PlayStation Network account, open Discord on desktop or web and go to User Settings > Connections. On mobile, go to User Settings > Connections.” From there, enter your login information for your PlayStation account. It’s pretty easy. You can also toggle whether anyone can see your PlayStation status in case you need to hide it for any reason.

The PlayStation feature works on all platforms where Discord is installed, so give it a try if you’re playing on a Sony console. Unfortunately there hasn’t been an update on the broad integration of the two, but these small steps are a good start for now.
