“We’re very excited to announce that @SummerGameFest will be back this June with lots of events. We’ll be making another Kickoff Live show with announcements, news and first impressions. More info with some very cool new elements over the next few weeks. We plan to share ‘22.”
The Summer Game Fest kicked off in 2020 and was created with the cancellation of that year’s E3 Expo, along with growing dissatisfaction with the previous year’s trade show. Keighley is now working with developers and publishers to showcase upcoming games featuring new looks and world premieres of the title at various digital showcases throughout the summer.
There is no information on who will appear at this year’s Summer Game Fest, but the scope of the event should become clear in the coming months.
