DNF Duel, released in June, new character notice

After the Arc Revo America final, Arc System Works has announced that the DNF Duel will be released this June.

In a short trailer showing lots of Ghost Blade footage, it was announced that the DNF Duel would be released on June 28th. The game will also participate in several competitive events, including the Arc World Tour 2022, a worldwide tournament tour with a prize pool of $200,000. Split prize pool between DNF and Guilty Gear Strive.

The video featured a new character other than Ghost Blade, a mechanic that appeared after the December beta period. This will display a known roster of up to 12 characters, leaving hints for other classes unconfirmed.

DNF Duel is a fighting game created in collaboration with Arc System Works and Eighting, developers of other fighting games such as Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 and Bloody Lore. Based on Dungeon Fighter Online, a Korean MMO fighter created by Neople and published by Nexon, it brings the game’s class to life in a whole new way. We’re excited to be playing more of DNF Duel since our initial beta back in December of last year. Combat is fun, colorful and easy to execute, with simplified directional input for special attacks. There’s a reason we made this list of the most anticipated fighting games of 2022. Now that we have a release date, we can’t release it sooner. DNF Duel releases on June 28th for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC.
